Day 243 - Hitchiker

Playing with the charcoal brushes in Procreate - loads of new free brushes in there now.

Day 242 - Runner

Well, she's kind of running.

Day 235 - Bug Creature

Not so successful, but I enjoyed it and maybe that's enough.

Day 234 - Feathers

Day 233 - Miss Hannigan

Inspired by Carol Burnetts fantastic portrayal in Annie whilst watching it with Z yesterday. The drawing is quite the failure sadly.

Day 232 - Birthday Girl

My little one just turned 7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Z!

Day 231 - Oh Boy!

Not sure what he can see. That's your job to project.

Day 230 - Simple

Doodle doodle.

Day 229 - Symmetry again

Slight cop out using the symmetry mode in sketchbook pro, but it's fun to do.

Day 228 - Walter Smith

I came across this great website today, which has a collection of mug shots from the 1920's. Check them out on twisted sifter.com. This is one of those guys.

Day 227 - Post-it Doodle

As the title suggests, with a little white tone in procreate.

Day 226 - Tooth Fairy

For my best mates little girl.

Day 225 - Bride

Tattooed bride. My god she has a small head. And long arms. I thank you.

Day 224 - Centaur

UPDATED! I was never happy with this, so took a few minutes on the commute to rectify some of the major wrongs - proportions for a start, and the overall washed out quality of the values. Still would need a lot of work to be 'right', but at least I'm happier with this.

This took waaay too long, and went away from the far more stylised initial doodle.

Day 223 - My Ragnar Robot

So tonight I thought I'd try to design my own version of a character to fit into Big City, Ragnars monster project. Fun stuff, and nice to work primarily in silhouette and design.

Day 222 - Ragnar Robot

I have an amazing art book by Ragnar, based on his ongoing project Big City. Beautiful stuff. I started this by pretty much copying note for note one of his designs, and then played with it a bit. Not enough to take any credit, but it was a good exercise.

Day 221 - Notebook doodle

Super quick doodle in a meeting, with tone added in procreate to pop it a little.

Day 220 - Tank Thing

More mediocre vehicle stuff, after watching a Scott Robinson tutorial. Looking forward to his How to Draw book. I need it apparently.

Day 219 - Thick Neck

Traditional.

Day 218 - Star

Watched Battle Royale again whilst doing this. That film is so good on so many levels.  Here's a drawing, not really influenced by the above, but with a definite manga vibe.

Day 217 - Orb

The orb doesn't work, and wasn't really thought through, but I enjoyed drawing the space jockey guy.

Day 216 - Turtle

From reference. Very cool looking turtle.

Day 215 - Bubble Hair

A simple line drawing which took way too long for what it is (and the intention behind it).

Day 214 - Stripes

Rough as balls.

Day 213 - Queen

Symmetry cop out, but quick and fun to do. Kind of an ancient Amadala?

Day 212 - Chair Flight

Silly, and man I need to work on my perspective skills.
