Day 168 - Late Arrival

Being away from home in Devon means Internet access has been non-existent until today, but I have kept up, and here's is Mondays doodle - traditional watercolour.

Day 165 - Dancer

Doodley dancer more accurately. Still scrabbling and struggling at the moment, and need to turn a corner creatively.

Day 163 - Valkyrie

An altogether quite silly doodle today, but no time to ponder on its shortcomings.

It IS a joke - I just don't get the punch line. Oi. Life throws some weird shit at you sometimes.

Yet another half arsed sketch I'm afraid, and what is up with the forearm proportions?! Traditional with procreate rough value pass.

Day 158 - Gang Star

Yep, another very quick doodle to wrap up the work day. I could obviously work into this a whole lot more, but I'm trying to let it go and be alright with 'quick' and 'rushed'.

Just horrible today. Even the basic shapes are horrible. Oh well, it's what it is, and its what's getting posted so I can get some sleep.

I swear that I only noticed that this bore more than a passing resemblance to the God of War character as I was finishing it up. Oh well, we'll call it an homage.

Symmetry doodle. I have the sickness right now (man flu), so thought a quick pencil looking drawing should suffice. But then I wanted to add some local flat colour. And then some value shifts. And highlights. And a background. Oi. I did enjoy this though.

Day 125 - Struggle

Yes, a full on struggle to get anything out today. Uninspired, and lots of thrown away (bad) sketches. This is what ended up barely scraping through, and traditional watercolour for a change.

Day 119 - Sci-fi Clown

I'll be honest with all two of you who may look at this blog - this one actually freaks me out a little. It moved from Sci-fi samurai guy, to Sci-fi clown without me noticing till it was done. I've no idea what  made it suddenly feel that way, but its in the face. It doesn't help that it looks like he's sporting a toilet round his neck. Carry on, McDuff.
