Julie's Coffee shop sketch
It's been awhile, but finally a sketch I'm at least not entirely embarrassed by. Julie's, in yer old 'hood Brad. Cool place to relax for a while, and even better if you get to sit next a guy as interesting to look as this fella was. Got the feeling he was a tad on the mad side, jabbing at his keyboard with one finger maniacally, interspersed with huge shit-eating grins as if he'd accomplished the ultimate revenge, then odd moments of calm, which is what I seem to have captured him in.

Old fella at Fertile Grounds coffee house
Great looking older guy. Reminded me of a classical composer with that wispy long grey/white hair. I didn't do him justice unfortunately, and struggled with the paint a fair bit. Still, there it is. It all contributes to the learning.
